How do you feel about competions, do they work for you? Do you even use them as a marketing tool for your website?
Are you one of these sceptics that believes that no one can ever win anything online and that any competition online is all about collecting precious customer data only?
Are you worried that if you do enter a competition that your mailbox is going to get spammed to death with all sorts of information that you are not remotely interested in?
Competions can be genuine, not everything is like the BBC or ITV and faked.

Now that we are working with the Online Spy Shop I had a think about what gadgets the SEO community could use to get the low down from their fellow SEO’s:
Imagine knowing what Rand is actually up to at SEOMoz whilst the rest of the team actually do the work. SEO Meetings: - GPS Covert Peli Track
Find out where your competitors are going! in true Jack Bauer style sneak the GPS Covert PeliTrack into the car of the competitor. (making sure you switch on the tracker first)
Once installed, you can start viewing where your competitor is going and use postcode look up to find the organisation. Once you have all the intelligence you can get your sales team to put a cheeky call in for the SEO pitch!

Do you want to know what is going on at your biggest rivals? Well you can, here’s how……
Dress up as a maintenance man and pay a visit to the offices of your competitors. You could make out you are performing PAT tests, I’ll leave the ultra dodgy getting in the building bit to your imagination.
